I know first hand what it takes to make a long distance move. I'll be here for you should you need to move across town or across the country.

Pace Florida is a satellite community of Pensacola. Located in Santa Rosa County it is one of the fastest growing communities in NW Florida. Once a rural agricultural area it is now more a suburban and residential real estate market today. Many residents live in Pace and commute to Escambia County and the city of Pensacola for employment. All just a short drive across Escambia Bay. Pace is approximately 25 minutes to downtown and 35 minutes to Pensacola Beach.

Pace Schools

Pace school system received an "A" rating from the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) for the 2005-2006 year. Santa Rosa County holds the title as one of the top school systems in the state. Pace High School is fed from Dixon Primary K-2, Dixon Intermediate 3-5 and Sims Middle School 6-8, as well as Pea Ridge Elementary K-5, and Avalon Middle School 6-8. Pace High offers extracurricular activities ranging from sports to academics, the arts, and community service clubs. For more information on Santa Rosa School district visit www.santarosa.k12.fl.us

Pace Subdivisions

Pace subdivisions are a graceful mixture of old and new. Stonebrook is a private golf course community favored by families and retirees. Other subdivisions provide large lot sizes that allow horses such as the Saddle Club. One of the first subdivisions in Pace designed in the 80's and still growing is Woodbine Springs Plantation offering mature trees and a lake for catch and release fishing. As growth continues new gated communities such as Habersham are on the rise, as well as the new construction of affordable housing. For more neighborhood information email Matt@Pace-Real-Estate.com

The Community of Pace

As residential construction has boomed, commercial construction is working overtime to keep up with - "Pace!" Coming in 2007 is Target, Publix, and Starbuck's. Joining Wal-Mart, Home Depot and Office Depot as strong holds. There is also some talk of a major technology retailer moving in as well. New restaurants are popping up regularly. Including Okki Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar, La Hacienda, and Ruby Tuesdays. Not to be overshadowed is Chet's Seafood who's family has been serving this community many years. The living style in Pace is centered around family fun and recreation for the young and the young at heart.

In 2005 the new RAVE Theater was opened offering a new format in theater systems: reclining seats with lots of leg room. Another favorite of all ages is Oop's Alley. A large new bowling center that boast an arcade filled with students and a sports bar and grill complete with pool tables for the adults. Also, a roller rink is near the Avalon Middle.

Out of town is the Farmer's Opry House dinner theater. Pace Library is expected to open in early 2007. If your family fun is centered around youth sports, you'll be please to find the Pace Recreational Association (PARA) managing Soccer, Softball, Baseball, Football and Cheerleading.

Last but not least is the reason so many move to the Emerald Coast in the first place, lots of sunshine, the emerald green waters of the coast and a clean bay with a soft breeze perfect for sailing, or motor boats. Pace offers two public boat ramps and fishing piers. In the State of Florida fishing from a pier does not require a license.

To enjoy nature from dry land, visit the Wildlife Preserve in the heart of town. Or venture out to the Black Water River State Park for hiking or kayaking. To learn more about moving to Pace, Santa Rosa County, or the City of Pensacola and Pensacola Beach, log on and send me your email.
